These are shiny but they are stainless steel shiny. They are not on the white side like sterling silver. They will not match sterling silver jewelry.

Also note they do not overlap. Please look carefully at the photos. Notice about 1/2 of the ring is a single strand while the rest has both strands.

They are each 1.2mm thick when both strands of wire are side by side.
